DUCK KEY, Fla. – July 20, 2023 – This Labor Day weekend, Hawks Cay Resort, an iconic destination resort in the Florida Keys, is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated Heroes Salute Tribute Weekend, honoring military, police officers, firefighters, and medical professionals. In a unique fusion of celebration, the resort will also host their Keys to Country music series on Sunday night, presenting military veteran, Craig Morgan, bringing the magic of country music to heroes and their families at the picturesque waterside stage.
The weekend festivities will include a 5K run, touch-a-truck, fireworks, games, contests, and a special tribute ceremony on Saturday night where Congressman Brian Jeffery Mast, a veteran who serves the U.S. representative for Florida’s 18th congressional district, will be the keynote speaker. The Coast Guard Ceremonial Honor Guard, regional and local service dignitaries, and representatives from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, which receives a portion of the proceeds from the Hawks Cay Heroes Salute program, will also be in attendance.
